Tartan Fields is located in the back yard of Jack Nicklaus’ Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio. The « King » Arnold Palmer designed a masterpiece in Tartan Fields and is regarded as one of the top clubs in the Columbus area. The club opened up in 1999 and is 7,119 yards from the back tees.
Tartan Fields is a fantastic layout for players of all skill level to enjoy. The course stretches out to 7,119 yards from the tips with a challenging 74.4 rating/141 slope and can be played as short as 5,100 yards from the forward tees. With six sets of tees to choose from, you get to select the level of difficulty that matches up with your game! Tartan is very generous off the tee with fairways that can reach over 50 yards wide. Native grass areas outline many of the fairways providing beautiful color and scenery. Approach shots are very challenging with many forced carries. Tartan’s undulating greens are heavily guarded with 24 greenside bunkers and 11 water hazards including an island green on hole 8!
